Projects are headaches

Problem no.1: people don't come (i.e. busy.. got something on.. cannot make it..)

Problem no.2: people come late (lets meet at 12! but comes at 2? 3?)

Problem no.3: people come unprepared (do you all understand what is this about?)

Problem no.4: crash of ideas (i think this is the correct way we should be doing and not that~)

Problem no.5: nothing gets done

Had spent wed, fri, sat, sun, mon daily in school for projects.. most of the time is just wasting time doing nothing much.. mon was the worst.. did project near NP till 11+ in the darkness as the lights switch off at about 11.. today i went to school wanting to hand up the assignment and go for my lessons.. but end up touch up on the project and found out that my part is excluded again.. took a cab back home and emailed my part to print.. **** and one thing they don't get me.. (Divisional structure by Mintzberg is not equal to conglomerate in dictionary) you have to name a theory! not use english to write! agrrh.. you try exam they ask you "What structure by whom that you learnt from Organisational Theory does this case study implicate to?" and you say conglomerate structure instead of divisional structure!! wtf la..

Well, not all things are bad thru this week.. At least a spent sunday night at seow's house eating bbq steamboat + black pepper crabs~!!! also ate home made mooncakes by his mum.. everything's so tasty and had quite alot of laughter all night long~

There is still one more project left.. hope this one would give me a more pleasant working experience.. I'll just relax for awhile now~

Theory 1: work hard = play hard

When you work hard, bearing in mind that only after your work is completed, you get to play hard. Stable theory due to the concept of consistency. However, motivation factor is reduced in this theory.
In financial terms: low risk low returns structure.
In organisational theory terms: rewards after work

Theory 2: play hard = work hard

When you play hard, bearing in mind the importance of work, you will put in more effort to work hard. Unstable theory as the weightage of play and work is hard to measure. Motivation factor is rather high in this theory.
In financial terms high risk high returns structure.
In organisational theory terms: rewards while you work

which would you choose?
